WWE Adds Divas Title Match To Survivor Series

Earlier tonight on RAW, Kaitlyn and former divas champion Layla fought each other to determine who would be new #1 contender of Eve Torres' Divas Championship title.  Eve was also on commentary during the match. Watch the match Here:

Beth Phoenix "Fired" From WWE

Tonight on RAW, Vickie Guerrero announced that AJ Lee would be facing The Glamazon Beth Phoenix in her first match back from resigning as RAW GM.  After a very quick match, AJ won with a roll up.  Vickie than comes out and demands that the match be restarted, leading Beth to hit the Glam Slam and get the 1, 2, 3, for the win.

Layla Has Wardrobe Malfunction During Title Match

Tonight on RAW during the Divas Championship match, the Challenger Layla while caught in a painful looking submission by Champion Eve Torres, Layla's attire didn't hold up very well.  While in submission, Layla's boob pops out of her wrestling top right when there's a close up of her on the titan tron. This interestingly enough prompted a "this is awesome" chant from the crowd.

Tonight on RAW, WWE Divas Kaitlyn, Eve Torres, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, Natalya, Rosa Mendes and Aksana participated in a battle royal that would determine the new #1 contender for Layla's Divas Championship.

WWE Diva Eve Torres was recently interviewed by IGN.com to hype her involvement in the new NBC reality show "Stars Earn Stripes," which debuts tonight on at 8pm ET. Here are some highlights of what Eve said about:

RAW Ratings Breakdown for 8/6

As noted before, the August 6th WWE RAW did a 3.09 cable rating with 4.37 million viewers. The three hours did ratings of 2.80, 3.26 and 3.19. There were no big segments this week and there was a fade in the third hour with the peak being the segment with Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

AJ Lee Angle Nixed

After AJ Lee was named General Manager of Raw last week on Raw 1,000, her first act in the position was to grant Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson a WWE Championship Match at the Royal Rumble. The angle, however, was nixed due to time constraints and Johnson announced that he would face whoever the WWE Champion is at the pay-per-view event.

WWE plans to downplay Johnson's upcoming title shot until after the Survivor Series on November 18 as to not draw attention away from any of the other shows they have to promote in the meantime. Officials also want Royal Rumble, which takes place in Phoenix, Arizona, to be sold out by November.

RAW Ratings Breakdown for 7/23

As noted before, the 1,000th episode of WWE RAW did a 3.86 rating over three hours with an average of 6.04 million viewers - the most viewers ever for a three-hour show. They averaged a 4.03 rating and 6.31 million viewers over the final two hours.

As noted before, the July 16th WWE RAW Supershow did a 3.44 cable rating with 4.90 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth lost 384,000 viewers from the opening segment. AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan's backstage segment plus Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio with Rey Mysterio's return gained 252,000 viewers. Rikishi's return vs. Heath Slater gained another 169,000 viewers.

 As noted before, the July 9th WWE RAW Supershow scored a 3.17 cable rating with 4.42 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, the opener with AJ Lee, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan with Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger lost 74,000 viewers. Christian and Tyson Kidd vs. Tensai and Dolph Ziggler plus the Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler angle lost 416,000 viewers. Brodus Clay vs. Drew McIntyre plus the Stephanie McMahon video promoting the 1,000th RAW gained 102,000 viewers.

#16 Trish Stratus vs. Lita: Women's Championship Match (Dec. 6, 2004)

Marking the first time in history that the Divas were featured in the main event of Raw, Trish Stratus and Lita shined like true main eventers. Their rivalry couldn't have been any more personal, as Trish had repeatedly tried to humiliate Lita by poking fun at her pregnancy and relationship with Kane. One month after getting disqualified for breaking Trish's nose with a steel chair at Survivor Series, Lita got another opportunity to capture the Women's Championship and teach Trish a lesson.
