Honour Magazine's Top 50: #41 Alicia

Since Women's Superstars Uncensored came into existence, Alicia has been one of the company's most prominent wrestlers.

Throughout the past year, Alicia has continued to play a big role in WSU.  Though the company's three titles have been far from her reach, Alicia remains in prominanet position.

In June last year Alicia went toe-to-toe with current WSU Champion Jessicka Havok in a Uncensored Rules match that utillized every possibly foreign object imaginable.

It has been her rivalry with Havok and her Midwest Militia cohorts that has monopolised her year.  At Breaking Barriers 2 Alicia joined Brittney Savage and Mercedes Martinez in WSU's first ever War Games match.

On June 16, Alicia gets her chance to climb back into the WSU Title race with the Uncensored Rumble.  Having fallen short at the 2012 J-Cup, Alicia her assured a victory and promises to be next in line to the main event strap.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #42 Eve Torres

It has been an eventful year for Eve. 

The WWE Universe has gone through waves of emotion with the Diva Search winner.  Torres first joined forces with Kelly Kelly in their short-lived battle with the Divas of Doom.  Eve earned herself two shots as the Diva's Championship, but was unsuccessful in her quest both times.

Her attentions soon turned to internet sensation and fan favorite Zack Ryder.  It was a moment that afforded Eve the opportunity to inject personality into her flat smiley good guy gimmick.

Eve went from googly-eyed teenager to controlling wench when she turned on Ryder at Wrestlemania.  Though at times chessy, character development suck as this is a rarity amongst Divas on WWE television.

The former Diva's Champion has since adopted classy suits and porn star glasses to become cliche power crazed business woman; and it's working.  The WWE Universe despises her very presence, something Eve seems to relish.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #43 Sarita



This year has marked Sarita's- known independently as Sarah Stock- ten year anniversary in professional wrestling.

In that time Sarita has wrestled for numerous high profile wrestling companies ranging from CMLL to TNA.  In between she has stopped off at revered wrestling haunts including SHIMMER.

Whilst the past twelve months has been relatively uneventful for the 'Dark Angel,' it has been one filled with solidity and consistency.

In TNA she has served as the proverbial workhorse battling in a series of matches on the company's often unnoticed Xpolsion.

As part of CMLL's annual bodybuilding competition, Stock maintained her perfect win-loss record going 6-0.  'Thank you to everyone who came out to support me and helped me get the win,' said Sarah on Facebook.

Stock has had a distinguished ten year career thus far, and with no looming wind-down her place on the HONOUR 50 could jump next year.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #44 Jenny Rose

By shedding the mask and luminous colored tassels, Jenny Rose has quickly become an attractive prospect on the Independent wrestling scene.

In the summer of last year, Rose made her Japanese debut for the newly founded DIANA; an organization let by the legendary Kyoko Inoue.  Though her win-loss record in the Orient was nothing to write home about, it was for all intents and purposes a stand-out moment in the blossoming career Rose.

In the USA Rose joined the WSU roster on a more regular basis forming a union with 'Bonesaw' Jessie Brooks.  Known creatively as Bone N' Roses, the duo have gone on to prime themselves as potential candidates for a future tag title reign.

It was in March of this year however when measurable success came in abundance.  Firstly Rose took the WXWC4 Women's Championship before taking the IndyGurlz Grand Prix tournament seven days later.



Honour Magazine's Top 50: #45 Luscious Latasha

In the past twelve monthes the dots have all connected and Luscious Latasha's profile has increased ten-fold.

In the summer of 2011, Latasha spent several months wrestling in Japan for the REINA organization.  Echoing the same stories of culture contrasts between the Japanese and American wrestling scene, Latasha has took on a wealth of new experiences.

'The [was] my first opportunity to wrestle internationally,' explained Latasha in an interview with David Falcon (dafalcon10.blogspot.co.uk).  'I contacted them and they were interested.'

It is independence such as this that provides Latasha with an edge in the competitive Independent wrestling market.  Expectations are high that as we gear up to close 2012, Latasha will continue to rise to the top.

At home Latasha has experienced success with WSU.  A brief Tag Team title reign with Jana has kept her relevent, but it has been her overseas work that has truly mustered up a fuss.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #46 Rhia O'Reilly

Women's wrestling in Europe has been given a shot of adrenaline following the debut of Pro Wrestling: EVE two years ago.  Now there is an army of wrestlers invading the world and all are looking to continue to prove their worth.

This year Rhia O'Reilly made her debut for two major women's wrestling organizations in two different countries.  'Fighting' Irish made her Femmes Fatales debut in Canada on March 10, only a week before a successful showing for SHIMMER Women's Athletes.

The career milestone came only a week after another benchmark; the capture of her first Women's Championship.  Wrestling in Switzerland, Rhia O'Reilly best Lisa Fury to become the WAR Women's Champion.

With so little experience, it is astounding the work rate of O'Reilly.  Now she has worked for three of wrestling's most noted Independent organizations.  As 2013 bellows, O'Reilly will no doubt be hoping to continue hitting new highs.



Honour Magazine's Top 50: #47 Cherry Bomb

'I already am a top star, the world just doesn't know it yet,' explains Cherry Bomb in an interview with DirtyDirtySheets.com earlier this year.

With an overwhelming confidence it's not a shock to lear that Cherry carries two titles.  As the CCW Women's Champion and TCW Women's Champion, Cherry Bomb represents more than just those organizations.  Instead, Cherry Bomb has the job of representing wrestling in Ontario.

Her succuss in her homeland has afforded her many opportunities in the United States in the past twelve months, most notably the opportunity to become #1 contender to the AIW Women's Championship.

Life also imitated art when Cherry Bomb accepted the role of a professional wrestler in an Independent movie about the Independent wrestling scene.

Cherry Bomb also revived her role in nCw Femmes and will be part of their July 7 event when she teams with Sweet Cherrie in a tag team match against the Canadian Ninjas

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #48 Velvet Sky

Throughout the past eighteen months the TNA Knockouts has been in a period of transition.  After over-using a slew of former WWE Divas, the brand seemed set on using a home grown Knockout to front the entire division.

At TNA's biggest event of the year, Velvet Sky stepped into the role when she became Knockout's Champion for the very first time.  Since joining the organization in 2007, Sky has been short on titles but now on exposure.  Usually talking the talk but falling short when walking the walk, expectations with her Knockouts Title reign were slim.

Nontheless Sky was able to engage in an entertaining rivalry with Madison Rayne and Karen Jarrett before dropping the title to the returning Gail Kim

Though her title reign lasted just over a month, it was the chase that put Sky into the spotlight.  Sky made the most of having more time to wrestle and utillized her opportunity to speak.

Though Velvet has falled at the wayside with the return of Gail Kim, it wouldn't be a shock to see her elevated back into the title match.  Velvet Sky has proved herself to be an engaging figure on the microphone and a competent worker in the ring.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #49 Davina Rose

As The protege of the 'Anti-Diva' Serena Deeb, Davina Rose has a lot of weight to carry on her shoulders.

In the past year alone Rose has transcended all expectations by debuting for companies such as ArenaChicks and SHIMMER.  In the process Rose has established herself as a legitamate contender to the future of Independent wrestling.

Based in Northern California, Rose has become an impact player in her home promotion; Big Time Wrestling.  With victories over Amber O'Neal and Cheerleader Melissa, Rose has become BTW's star.

Upon her SHIMMER debut, Davina served as an integral part of the burgeoning rivalry between Deeb and the Canadian Ninjas.

'I can only expect to be half as good as my mentor,' said Rose in an interview last month.  The yearhas been a promising one and Rose looks to be well on her way to exceeding her humble goal.

Honour Magazine's Top 50: #50 Taeler Hendrix

Taeler Hendrix has burst on the independent wrestling scene in the former haunt of wrestling's most noted organization.  Now Ohio Valley Wrestling serves as the developmental camp for TNA and it is Taeler Hendrix fighting toward the front of a Knockouts spot.

At the end of last year Taeler picked up her first major title when she toppled Lady Sojo (formerly TNA's Sojourner Bolt) to become OVW Women's Champion.  Hendrix has since gone on to successfully defend the belt against a string of OVW wrestlers.

In addition to title success inside the ring, Hendrix has been tuning her character with a surprising heel turn.  Aligning with the woman whom she took the Women's Championship from, Hendrix now stands as the epitome of arrogance.

If wrestling has taught us anything, it's that an ego never hurts.
