Mickie James Returning To TNA This Thursday, Changes To The Division?

This Thursday's Impact Wrestling broadcast will feature the television return of Mickie James as she has been announced to compete in a #1 Contender Knockout Battle Royal for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship currently held by Tara.

TNA Postpones Knockout's Title Match Tonight

ImpactWrestling.com has announced that tonight's scheduled TNA Women's Knockout Championship match between Miss Tessmacher and Gail Kim has been rescheduled for next week's episode of Impact Wrestling.

The reason for this is: "Gail Kim lodged a protest through her lawyer and upon further review of the contract, a clause was found preventing the title match from happening tonight! Gail’s lawyer had a clause hidden in the contract that required the former champion 8 days notice of her rematch."

Brooke Hogan has announced a replacement match for tonight—TNA Women's Knockout Champion Miss Tessmacher will team up with Tara to face Gail Kim and Madison Rayne.

Knockouts Championship To Be Defended This Thursday

Impact Wrestling's official website has posted that The Knockouts Championship will be on the line on the Live Impact! Knockouts Executive Brooke Hogan will announce on the broadcast who Miss Tessmacher will defend the gold against that night.

Brooke Hogan's TNA Position Temporary

New executive of the Knockouts division, Brooke Hogan, has intimated that her run in TNA may not be for the long haul.

Brooke referred to her new role as ‘temporary’ when speaking to CNN on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday.

Brooke said: “Secretly I always wanted to wrestle, even though I’m a total pansy. I cannot take a bump for the life of me, but I just saw the opportunity, and I was like ‘why not,’ you know, it’s temporary. I get to get in there and straighten a few things out, you know. I’m passionate about it, I’ve grown up in the business, and it’s fun.”
