wwe.com just announced that Layla will defend her Divas Championship title against Beth Phoenix once again at this Sunday's No Way Out.
Layla won the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules. Beforehand, it was Beth that was first announced as Nikki's challenger, cashing in her rematch clause. Before the match, backstage Eve Torres told Beth that she was not medically cleared to compete because of her ankle. Eve then told Nikki that her new opponent would be a surprise and surprise it was. Layla was the new opponent for Nikki's title, coming back from a year long knee injury.
